MASTERCLASS
📅 Friday 18/04/2025 (6:00pm-8:30pm) – "HANDSTAND JAM"
Mobility technique clinic and a fun practice of inversions with prep work and playground. Open to all levels.
WORKSHOP
📍 MODULE 1 - Saturday 19/04/2025 (10:30am-1:30pm)
A dynamic practice of traditional asanas with the integration of modern functional mobility. Students will learn techniques for the art of jumping in Vinyasas and preparation material to progress in arm balances. Emphasis on the joy of movement.
📍 MODULE 2 - Saturday 19/04/2025 (4:30pm-7:30pm)
Zain is extremely creative in sequencing and very playful in his use of the chair prop. You will go deep into how to use this powerful prop to advance and assist your asana practice. If you are a yoga teacher or practitioner looking to be more creative and explore the use of props to support your practice and teaching, this workshop can be enlightening.

An energetic and fun practice of backbends to honor our privilege and freedom to receive yoga, while sending all our heart energy to humanity.

ABOUT YOGI ZAIN
Zain Syed is a California based yoga teacher and a celebrated practitioner in the online yoga community. His fun and short demo videos on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube have inspired many around the world to explore creative and playful ways into the practice of asanas.
With many years of training and influence from senior Iyengar Yoga teachers, he enjoys the detail-oriented approach to help students cultivate strength and stability. Zain credits much of his inspiration in practice and teaching skills to his mentor and friend, Carrie Owerko. Classes and workshops with Zain are known for a dynamic blend of power, precision and play!
Since teaching his first class at San Quentin Prison, Zain served as a devoted facilitator of the Prison Yoga Project where he taught every week for over six years. During his time of living in the Bay Area, he also taught at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco, at YogaWorks studios in Marin county, as well as at local studios and gyms in the East Bay.
Prior to the covid pandemic Zain was on the road for two years and visited over 20+ countries to share practice with diverse communities in South America, Central America, Asia, and Europe.
